According to a report of TOI according to a report from TOI, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways ( MoRTH) has required all cars to have a high security registration plate ( HSRP) that have been sold before April 1st, 2019.

Another method to buy HSRPs is through authorized automobile dealers, but it's important to note that many dealerships are still not authorized to use this method and the most efficient method is to search your State Transport Department's portal to get any information related to this.
